Preamble
This Code of Ethics inherits the founding spirit of patriotism through steelmaking (製鐵報國) based on sacrifice and service and reflects the new spirit of the times. It sets forth the ethical values and standards of conduct that all employees of the POSCO Group should uphold and develop.

Building a corporate image trusted by all stakeholders with integrity, fairness, and honesty as the highest value standards is the unchanging value we all should pursue.

To this end, the company established a Code of Ethics to be observed by all employees in 2003, explicitly included UN human rights management advocating human respect in the Code of Ethics in 2014, and has now revised the Code of Ethics to strengthen ethical standards in line with the purpose of management innovation that prioritizes ethics as the highest value in management.

This Code of Ethics consists of ethical management principles that reflect employees' compliance with and responsibility for the Code of Ethics, following the preamble and practical guidelines that serve as criteria for ethical decision-making.
All employees of the POSCO Group must strictly adhere to the ethical principles and practical guidelines outlined in this Code of Ethics while carrying out their duties.
