I am Kim Bong-chul,
President of POSCO STEELEON Co., Ltd.
The foundation for our POSCO Group's
continuous growth over the past 50 years,
despite numerous challenges and trials,
lies in our transparent and fair business conduct based on the 'public consciousness' of contributing to national economic development and the Code of Ethics that prioritizes ethics as the highest value.

Now, we must move towards becoming a 100-year company based on the management philosophy of 'Corporate Citizenship' - a new image of the POSCO Group that pursues values of consideration, coexistence, and symbiosis while developing together with stakeholders including shareholders, customers, suppliers, partners, local communities, and employees - and with an even more thorough ethical consciousness.

The ethical management that the POSCO Group aims for is based on the philosophy of 'doing the right thing in the right way,' and we must further develop it to meet the new era's values and demands of growing together with stakeholders.

To this end, we must make ethical decisions, respect and consider others and take a transparent and fair approach to all stakeholders.
In particular, mutual growth with small and medium-sized enterprises based on mutual trust will further strengthen our competitiveness.

Moreover, POSCO members faithful to the Code of Ethics prioritize substance over form, execution over reporting, and practical benefits over justification, and they reform their systems and ways of working to match these three practicalities (3實).
Let's continuously question whether being bound by formal reports and meetings and not focusing on our core duties might also be against the Code of Ethics in a broader sense and strive to enhance our practical capabilities.

Our POSCO Group, which possesses world-class steel competitiveness, must continue to grow as a great company that receives trust and respect by thoroughly adhering to the basics and principles of ethical management.
